Your contact lens evaluation is a separate examination from your comprehensive eye examination for glasses. Most insurance will cover only a portion of your contact lens fitting and materials. Contact lens examination fees vary depending on the type of contact lens your doctor recommends for you. You assume full responsibility for any co-payments, deductibles, and non-covered charges for your contact lens evaluation, other types of office visits and contact lens materials not covered by your insurance allowance.
